Jeanie and Liam are geniuses with ships and systems—less so with each other
Jeanie fixes spaceships. Give her a welding torch and a space suit, and she can fix anything. Or she could before her injury. Now she can fix most things. Hopefully, that includes the escape pod that’s the only thing keeping her and Liam alive. Hopefully, it includes their marriage.
Liam moved out to the edge of nowhere mostly to make Jeanie happy. But it turns out it just made them both miserable. So when their moon implodes, it could actually be a good thing. If they weren’t trapped on an antique escape pod that keeps breaking.
The food printer, the life support, even the reactor itself, can barely be fixed fast enough to keep Jeanie and Liam alive until they reach the nearest space station, six days away. And with no engines on their pod, they can’t get there any faster, even when it feels like their marriage is over. Even when they start running out of air.
Endless Sea of Stars is a sci-fi rekindling the romance with a good amount of spice. (I used my physics degree to write it, but you don’t need one to read it. Promise!)
