Orin just wants to do his job. And he’s good at it. No surprises, no disasters. Why he signed onto this ship after he saw the mess Captain Jeanie made of the life support system, he’ll never know. But it’s turned out to be a fun challenge getting it back in shape—if you don’t count this last leg of their trip, with no cabin air.
And that’s the problem: if Mila joins their crew, she’ll have to share one of the only two cabins with actual air with the gruff life support specialist. But she’ll do it, if it means leaving her family behind. But Jeanie’s messed with more than just the life support, and the reactor Mila has signed on to fix might even be more trouble than sharing a single-bunk cabin with Orin…
Unless they can work together to keep the ship running, the whole crew is in danger of suffocating out here in the middle of nowhere with no power, no air, and nowhere to go.
